I do not remember if this is already suggested...
Anyways, an excellent game. Very similar to privateer remake, and actually privateer remake has been built on this game's engine. aMAZing graphics is all I can say for now... (I have not played it too much ...yet ;) )

Can anybody help me, please?

Everytime I launch a mission there is a big screen in the middle of my cockpit and I can't find a way to deactivate it. Looked at the manual and thought I have to press M, but that's not the solution (nor is any other key)...

I am having the same issue as PA. Maybe this game should be labelled in development rather than considered to be playable?
I played the former version of te one eMTe suggested just now, so lets see if this is fixed now.

EDIT: The official site even says it is not releasable yet.

Version 0.5.0 is obviously a development version...

I moved this to IN DEVELOPMENT. I will go pause it in the GH-forum too.

BTW: I was able to solve the problem by turning down my graphical card...

0.5.0 is still the last one. Looks like not much is being done, but open-source space sims tend to have large communities, so it's unlikely this one will be abandoned I think. Maybe a bit more fullish version in next decade? ;)

I think you are a little too optimistic here. More than two years have passed and some days ago version 0.5.1.r1 was released:

http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/

But at least the project is alive... :D
