Downloaded. Now it awaits its time.

Anyone tried it? Three months passed since release of first version, c'mon. ;)

There's a new version too featuring new language packs and bugfixes.

I only ever liked Turrican with cheats... so I'm apprehensive.

Commercial quality software, even for today's standards. Dont remember any freeware platformer with so high design level - game looks like done by major developer.

And in contrary to 95% of beautifully looking freeware platformers it's playable.

Hurrican level isnt impossible - at least it's easier than normal level in Captain Binary or Xain D Sleena.

Which means that it's possible to achieve two goals simultaneously - make good looking game with decent gameplay. <--- hint for 95% of indy developers

In this case - great looking game with fantastic gameplay.

edit:

These three guys also achieved unachievable - captured the golden years of Amiga spirit. Forgetting modern graphics and animation this game plays like Amiga platformer from early nineties.

I'm 15 years younger!! :D

I wouldn't know, I elected to play Easy and it got hard enough by level 2. I didn't have too much trouble with Kapitan Binary, though I forgot to return to that and see if I could pass the wrecking ball. Better do that soon.

I really liked this alot. I will definently come back at some point to complete this game. :D
I have the same feeling of playing old Amiga games, and feeling younger by the minute. :D

A true classic and yet another topscoring freeware game for this site to host. :D

It's fantastic. Annoying as all hell sometimes, but really, really well made. Once you assign the keys slightly better, so you don't accidentally "space" all the time, the controls are really tight. Graphics are excellent, music is old school of the awesome kind. Nice power ups and fantastic level design - good variation between levels. And you can save between levels! Only problem I have with it is pretty much that I got stuck in the landscape sometimes and had to wiggle out of it again. Well, that and the instant death traps in level 2.

An amazing game, with lots and lots of gameplay. Level 2 is a bit tough though. I am having quite a lot of difficulty with it, but I plan on getting past it soon.
I really think this is one game that holds its own, and it definently earned the topgrade that it got. If you ahven't played it yet, you should do so, simply to relive the greatness of this type of game in general, and this game in particular.

You can now find a link to the interview with the developer in the first post.
