CHRISTMAS/DECEMBER AVATAR SIGN-UP THREAD 2009

Well, it seems December is closing in. :)
Who is up for one more year of more or less disturbing seasonal avatars flaunted publicly? Or who is up for getting into the X-mas spirit with pictures of elfs, presents, cookies and all around goodness.
In one question: Are you up for this years Christmas/December avatar contest?

Sign up before the downtime so you will have that time to find an avatar. :)
Deadline: Next Wednesday before shutdown.

EDIT: Changed the name of the thread to make it more visible and clearer.

Oh and if you are wondering why I made the thread in the old contest forum it is simply because I have been locked out of the admin panel for a while. :)

Cool. I think we need to make a deadline for when avatars should be applied for entering. How about this Thursday? Then we can vote over the next couple of days and the result will be in on Tuesday the 22nd?

So apply your avatar before Thursday
Polls will be up asap after that
Winner will be announced Tuesday the 22nd.

I think we need to prolongue the contest, as it seems a lot of us either didn't have time or simply forgot to get a X-mas avatar going. Lets say that the 24th is the latest to add an avatar, and the 28th is the last date to vote in.
So go change into something red and jolly everyone. :)

Sudden thought - It is said that Coca-Cola is responsible for Santas outfit being red, but I wonder if Jolly Cola had anything to say regarding his mood...? :?:

Hmm, I didnt want to participate, because there was not enough participants imo. Good contest needs solid two-digit number of contestants and this winter is pretty quiet when it comes to forum activity. The reason is that all forum users are crew members, so activity is more site-centered and forum tends to be less active sometimes. We need more non-crew users, but I believe it wont be that easy with internet writing activity becoming less and less thought-provoking and banal. See various twitters and other bullshit.

Besides, Chrolle stole my favourite avatar which gave me a CWF victory. Or OG. I dont remember precisely, but I remember the avatar and that it was victorious. :P
